The four steps
Each step shows the question on the left and the fields on the right. Use Back and Continue to move between them. If something needs fixing when you finish, you're taken to the step that has the problem.
Step 1: About you: pick your handle
Your handle becomes your profile link,
filli.me/builders/yourhandle, and your free website address,yourhandle.filli.me. We check that it's free as you type. You choose it once and can't change it later, so pick one you'll keep. Then add your first and last name, a middle name if you like, and your birthdate.
Step 2: Photo: add a picture of yourself
A PNG or JPG so other builders recognize you. It's optional: a placeholder shows until you add one.
Step 3: Skills: say what you work with
Pick up to 30 skills and tools from the list. They come from a fixed list so that search can match them, which is how the right people find you.
Step 4: Introduction: say what you build
This is your public bio, up to 2,000 characters. Keep it about the work: what you build and what you're exploring right now.
Below it, choose whether to Show my email on my public profile. It's off unless you turn it on.
Choose Create my profile and you land on your dashboard, with a nudge to add your first project.
