About this project

Ugnay.ph is a free, community-driven emergency hotline platform for the Philippines. It helps people quickly find and call national and local emergency services, including police, fire, medical, disaster-response, government, utility, and veterinary contacts. People can install it as a mobile-friendly PWA and save important hotlines for offline access when connectivity becomes unreliable. Ugnay also turns emergency advisories shared as text or images into live, area-specific Broadcasts. AI prepares the information for human review, while contributors decide what gets published. Communities can add missing numbers, categorize services, provide Helpful or Not helpful feedback, and share each Broadcast through a link, QR code, square post, or Story image.
