Builder profile

Frontend engineer who kept drifting into design until the two stopped being separate jobs. Seven years, mostly product work — I like the part where a screen gets simpler and nobody notices. I came in through an agency, which means I have built more marketing sites than I would choose to admit and got fast at CSS as a result. My current interest is design systems that survive contact with a real roadmap, which usually means fewer components than anyone wants. I do my own accessibility testing because I got tired of finding out late.
