I'm a licensed Civil Engineer and Quantity Surveyor based in the Philippines. I work as a freelance estimator for clients in the UK, US and Australia, producing BoQs, BOMs and cost estimates under NRM2, CSI MasterFormat and Australian Standards. What I build: an AI automation toolkit for QS workflows. It covers takeoffs/markups, BoQ and BOM generation, and client-ready deliverables, so estimators spend less time on repetitive measurement and formatting. Right now I'm exploring how far AI agents can go in construction estimating, in particular checking quantities, applying rates, and keeping outputs consistent across different measurement standards.
